Installation

Close Outlook and launch/execute the downloaded file ("setup.exe") and the Add-in will be automatically added to your Outlook installation. You can remove Goliath from your system at any time via File => Options => Add-ins => Manage COM Add-ins, uncheck Goliath and restart Outlook. Optionally thereafter, you can remove all Goliath files from your system via MS-Windows' Add/Remove Programs feature.

Configuration

Goliath can be configured the usual way Add-ins are configured, i.e. File => Add-ins => Add-in Options. There you can set the following parameters:
  • Templates for your letters, fax headers and notification emails
  • Set default values for the Courts and Districts in which you are the most active (this will populate the case selectors accordingly)
  • Register your product

Templates

Insert the following markers in you your MS-Word (*.dotx) and email templates (*.oft) for on-fly data substitution:

  • ###date###
  • ###recipient###
  • ###casename###
  • ###casenumber###
  • ###courtnumber###

Remote Access

No need for a cloud services/provider to access your data remotely. All you need, is your own private VPN so you can access your office network/computers securely.

To this end, we recommend using Hamachi, a simple and secure VPN that you will have up and running within minutes (59$/year).

Once the tunnel is secured, you will be able to access you office network/computer through any software handling the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), like Remote Desktop Connection (native on Windows 10) or Microsoft Remote Desktopm (if you are on an Apple device).
